Carragh Amos' practice explores what it means for an object to be handmade.

As one of the most common ceramic forms, Amos often experiments with how vessels might tell a human story by representing the body - central to making, process and labour. Personal experiences and emotions are communicated using an intuitive language of forms - intimate moments of artist / object interaction captured in the impressionable material of clay.

Carragh Amos is a New Zealand born artist currently working in Singapore. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (hons) from Elam School of Fine Arts, Auckland, New Zealand.
